From Norfolk, England, Rosie’s family has been involved in the Thoroughbred industry for many years and she was a keen rider from an early age. A growing interest in racing took her to Lambourn, England in 2001, where during her holidays she worked for trainers Nicky Henderson, Noel T. Chance , and Hughie Morrison. Rosie also spent time in Australia, working for polo player Adam Meally in 2001 and trainer Graeme Rogerson in 2004.
Graduating from Trinity College Dublin with a degree in modern languages (French and Spanish) and literature, in between her studies, she worked for noted trainers Jessica Harrington and Sneezey Foster in Ireland, consignor Ted Voute and at Shadwell Stud’s breaking and rehabilitation division both in England.
In 2006 Rosie received a Joss Collins Scholarship and arrived in Kentucky that year, where she worked for T. Wayne Sweezey at Darby Dan Farm for two years. She gained hands-on experience in every aspect of large-scale commercial Thoroughbred breeding and was exposed to all major North American sales.
Rosie joined Bluewater Sales in 2008 and served as sales director for a year and a half. Working closely with owner Meg Levy and Bluewater’s client base, she organized and coordinated all aspects of a sale.
For the past 9 years, Rosie has been providing pedigree books and racing updates to a number of leading North American consignors.
